More than 10 years ago, Marketing Alternatives was approached by the purchase resale division of Bridgestone Firestone with the opportunity to help create a program to support retail tire sales by dealers who were not necessarily in the tire business. These purchase resale accounts represented service chains like Sunoco and Midas, as well as service centers of automotive dealerships such as GM, BMW, Saturn, Jaguar and others. The programs that have been implemented and are still maintained on Bridgestone Firestone’s behalf include annual sales incentive contests, online training and seasonal promotions.
